LAWYER AT LIBERTY - WHO I AM
Honesty is a cornerstone of my practice.
I appreciate that you are sharing a very private matter with me and I will be honest with you in return.
I work closely together with my clients on all cases, making sure that each aspect of your case is handled by an expert.
I am a trial lawyer specializing in homicide cases, and I have perfected all of the skills needed in taking serious cases to trial and winning.
Areas of Practice
Dani Williams graduated from the University of California at Davis. She went on to get her J.D. at Lincoln Law School,
on the Dean's Honor Role and with an Outstanding Student Award. While attending Lincoln she served as the
President of the Student Body. She graduated in June of 1979 and passed the July 1979 California Bar Exam.
She clerked for several lawyers during law school, so she went directly into private practice.
In 1979, the practice of Law was very different. In a typical day, she might appear in Federal Court in the
morning on a Criminal case and in State Court on a Family Law matter in the afternoon.
In private practice, lawyers were able to do it all, because primarily we were Trial Lawyers and if we couldn't settle a case
in an equitable and speedy manner for our clients, we weren't afraid to go to Court and litigate.
Practicing Law was not so much a business then, as it was an Honorable Profession.
She is grateful to have several great practicing lawyers as mentors, in particular Jerry Wininger, Brian Flynn,
Seymour Berger, and Ernie Winters who taught her how to represent clients and
pay tribute to the honorable traditions of the profession.
She has mentored 5 other, now successful lawyers, just as she was mentored by Wininger, and Flynn and Berger and Winters.
She has done her best to imbue her mentees with the same values and sense of honor and decorum.
Alexis Wilson is the first she has chosen to make partner based on her dedication to those ideals and professional excellence.
Dani has successfully litigated cases from Fresno to Redding, consulted on Federal Criminal cases in other States,
and is familiar with all fields of Law because she has actually practiced most of them.
In the past 10 years, Dani has concentrated her law practice on criminal law.
She has had 11 criminal cases go to trial in the last 7 years, 5 of which were homicides.
The last two in a row resulted in acquittals of first-degree charges.
